“Hi. My name is Grace. I am a registered nutritional therapist with a particular interested in gut as well as hormonal, mental and immune health. I trained to be a nutritional therapist after I felt let down by my own health. I felt like my body was talking a different language, one that I didn’t understand. I am now trained to examine and decipher what the symptoms that we might be experiencing are saying and therefore how to best respond with food and lifestyle changes that have the power to re-programme us to optimal health.”
Nutritional therapy offers powerful tools to support your physical and mental health but requires the application of new habits and lifestyle changes in order to feel better. I offer an initial consultation and always recommend at least three follow up meetings to address your personal situation and navigate the journey forwards towards optimal health and wellbeing. It takes commitment to get to the bottom of what is holding back your health.
All new clients begin with an initial consultation. During this session I will take a thorough health history in order to understand your health journey so far.
I will ask about all major systems in the body as well as your medical and family history in order to get a rounded picture of your individual circumstances. This includes reviewing your current diet, lifestyle and any nutritional supplements. My goal is to find the root cause of your problems. By listening to your health history, I will come to identify which environmental, dietary and lifestyle factors may need to be addressed or changed. We will discuss ideas together regarding adjusting your choices.
After our initial meeting I will write up a personalised plan suggesting dietary and lifestyle recommendations and nutritional supplements. I may advise testing if necessary. The aim of the plan is to provide you not only with the suggestions but also the reasons why certain changes can help you feel better.
Follow ups consultations are a chance to see what has worked well and what has been challenging after the introduction of new habits.
We will monitor your response to changes, working on further suitable adjustments and review test results to inform a follow up plan.
After a follow up meeting I write up a new personalised plan suggesting refined dietary and lifestyle recommendations for your situation informing new ways to address and support your health journey. The aim of the plan is to provide you not only with the suggestions but also the reasons why certain changes can help you feel better.
